Our visit to Mana Sleep & Spa Druskininkai, located in the spa town of Druskininkai, is one we won’t forget anytime soon. We were invited by the hotel as part of their genuine wish to welcome Israeli travelers, and for very good reason. We arrived at the peak of winter, with everything covered in snow, which turned the entire experience into something truly magical, calm, and deeply relaxing.
The Hotel: Five Stars of Pure Calm
This is a modern, forward-thinking five-star hotel that feels luxurious without being heavy or overwhelming. The design is clean, contemporary, and very aesthetic throughout, creating a refined yet relaxed atmosphere.
The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, offering modern luxury without feeling cold or impersonal. Each room is smart-controlled, with easy adjustment of lighting and temperature, adjustable beds operated by remote control, and large floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking breathtaking snowy views. The overall feeling is one of peace, privacy, and genuine indulgence, the kind that allows you to truly unwind.
Spa, Pool, and Everything In Between
If you’re into spa experiences, this is absolutely the place. The hotel offers an impressive variety of spa treatments, including unique therapies we hadn’t encountered anywhere else before. The spa area includes a heated indoor pool, a jacuzzi, a steam room, and a dry sauna, along with beautifully designed relaxation areas that invite you to slow down and stay awhile.
In addition, each floor features a fitness corner with open views, the kind that actually makes you want to work out, even while on vacation.
Chef-Level Dining
The hotel’s restaurant serves excellent chef-driven cuisine at a very high level, from the quality of ingredients to presentation and, of course, flavor. Every meal feels thoughtful and precise.
Breakfast was a particularly pleasant surprise: a rich and generous buffet with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, pastries, fruits, cheeses, and small chef-crafted plates. Everything was fresh, well executed, and absolutely delicious.
Atmosphere & Service
The hotel staff are simply wonderful, kind, attentive, welcoming, and always smiling. You truly feel that they care about their guests’ experience and comfort, not just because it’s expected, but because it genuinely matters to them.
What’s There to Do Nearby?
Druskininkai is a spa and resort town with plenty to do, especially in summer, but even in winter, there’s no shortage of activities. Nearby, you’ll find Druskininkai Aquapark with a family-friendly area as well as a separate adults-only complex featuring saunas, pools, and treatments.
There’s also a cable car with beautiful views, the Snow Arena (an indoor snow complex), and in the warmer months, you can enjoy cycling routes, nature walks, green parks, forests, lakes, and a charming town center filled with cafés and restaurants.
Location & Getting There
- Druskininkai is about a 1.5-hour drive from Vilnius
- You can get there easily by car, taxi, or convenient public transportation (we rented a car)
- There are direct and very affordable flights from Israel to Vilnius with Wizz Air
The combination of a short flight, reasonable prices, and a high-end experience makes this destination an excellent choice for a vacation.
Bottom Line
Mana Sleep & Spa – Druskininkai is a spa hotel that looks and feels expensive, but is actually very reasonably priced for what you get. It’s a calm, indulgent, aesthetic, and experience-rich vacation, perfect for couples, friends, and anyone looking for a true wellness escape. And most importantly: they really love Israeli guests 🙂 We stayed at the hotel for two nights and combined it with another two nights at a hotel in Vilnius, which made for a perfect vacation in Lithuania.
