London is one of our favorite cities and having visited numerous times, we craved a change of scenery. Cambridge caught our attention as a city we would absolutely love. After a pleasant hour and a half train ride from central London, we arrived in Cambridge and instantly fell for its charming atmosphere and stunning architecture.
Day trip to Cambridge from London
For our overnight stay, we chose the Graduate Hotel, a delightful establishment that perfectly encapsulated the spirit of Cambridge. Garden House is a grill focussed cooking restaurant located inside the graduate Hotel. What sets Garden House apart is not only its exceptional cuisine but also its serene garden setting, where guests can dine amidst lush greenery and cozy seating with a front-row seat to the river Cam. Combining rustic charm with contemporary elegance, the restaurant’s tastefully designed interior creates an inviting ambiance that adds to the dining pleasure.
We started our day with a full English breakfast buffet and loved it!
The restaurant is open for breakfast, dinner and also serves Sunday roast and afternoon tea.
