We decided to spend this weekend somewhere outside the city, somewhere we can relax and enjoy nature. We heard about a capsule hostel in the desert and we had to go and check it out. This hostel is one of the most unique places we’ve ever stayed in.
Naot Farm is located on a goat farm in the Negev, surrounded by sandy hills. Each room is actually a concrete pipe that was converted into a bedroom. Inside you will find a comfy double bed, two towels, and an air conditioner.
If you don’t want to sleep in a tube you can stay in one of their beautiful cabins.
A continental breakfast is also included in the room price but you can add 40 shekels and get the luxury version that includes locally handmade cheeses, quiche, salads, cookies, and more. Everything was so fresh and delicious!
If you want to relax you can lay in one of the hammocks outside or sit by the bonfire.
The place offers a fully equipped kitchen for everyone to use where you can cook your own meals if you want.
There are shared bathrooms and outdoor showers.
This place is perfect for people who want to travel in the area since there are a lot of hiking trails not far from the farm.
Things to around in the area:
-Hiking: Ein Ovdat national park (16 minutes drive), Haverim stream hike (10 minutes), Nahal zin (zin stram)
-Ben Gurion’s home museum – Sde Boker (14 minutes drive)
-Mitzpe Ramon (33-minute drive)
We had a perfect weekend. We will definitely be coming back to this place!
