The Inbal Hotel – Jerusalem

We love Jerusalem! so how happy we were to have the chance to stay at the newly renovated Inbal hotel in Jerusalem. Only an hour drive from Tel Aviv, and it feels like a different country.

The hotel was built 36 years ago (designed by the famous architect Yaakov Rechter) and had a few renovations since then, but the recent renovation was the biggest one, where two more floors were added, and instead of the common Jerusalem stones, the new floors were plated in gold-tone, which is very unique and beautiful 🙂

The hotel couldn’t have been better located, right by the old city, so the view is an integral part of the Hotel’s design. The First Station area is located 5 minutes’ walk away, a vibrant place with lots of restaurants!

After a warm welcome at the reception, we went up to our room in the seven’s floor, located in the new wing. We were given the premium room with a spectacular view of the old city. The design of the room is luxuries, modern and chic. It was very clean, spacious and beautifully designed with clear attention to details. The bathroom was also well-design with a “his and hers’ vanity and pampering bathrobes.

We also got full access to the hotel’s business lounge, located in the nine’s floor, with a spacious balcony, viewing the old city. The lounge offers food, drinks, television and free wifi throughout the day. It’s the perfect place to hang out and relax.

The hotel also has an outdoor half-Olympic pool (which is covered in the winter), a gym with a personal trainer, and a luxuries spa. Everything you need for the perfect vacation getaway.

One of the best parts of the hotel was the breakfast. The breakfast at the hotel is one of the best we’ve ever had, with a HUGE variety of pastries, salads, fish, cheeses and many many more, all made in-house.

The most significant thing we have noticed in the hotel is that it’s all about the service. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff were exceptional, nothing like we ever had in any other hotel we stayed in.

Besides the buffet breakfast and the business lounge, the hotel has many dining options, including the Coffee bar which offers drinks and light snacks and the hotel will soon open a new chef’s restaurant called “02” by the chefs of Mona restaurant (our favorite restaurant in Jerusalem).
