On our way to a vacation in the north of Israel, we decided to stop for breakfast at Cafe Zohara in Ein Carmel. About an hour’s drive from Tel Aviv (20 minutes from Haifa). When we got there we realised it was the right choice! The place is designed in an eclectic and magical way, there is a lot of seating inside and outside. Currently, because of COVID19, the place works in a self-service model.
We ordered the breakfast tray and the polenta and loved it, everything was fresh and full of flavor.
Make sure to take a short walk around the cafe to admire the many peacocks roaming freely, and the artists’ workshops scattered around.
