Last July we decided to celebrate our birthday in Rome. After a thorough search for a well-designed boutique hotel at a reasonable price, we found the Hoxton Hotel. Although the hotel is a bit far from the city center, it is very close to Villa Borghese Park.
The Lobby
The hotel is designed in an eclectic style, classical yet modern, with mid-century-inspired furniture. There are a lot of couches and seating areas in the lobby, which is wide and inviting.
The rooms
You can choose between small and large rooms, with or without a balcony. We took a spacious room with a balcony facing the street. The design of the rooms is very warm and cozy, with attention to the smallest details.
The restaurants
The hotel has two restaurants, one that serves meals from morning to evening and the other, a self-service cafe. All are beautifully designed and incorporated seamlessly into the lobby.
The hotel itself is very clean and the service was excellent.
In conclusion, if you like design and aesthetics and you don’t mind staying a little away from the city center, this is the hotel for you!
